Onishi Gallery, specializing in KOGEI (contemporary craft art from Japan), presents an exhibit that merges Japanese sensibility with Western contemporary taste. Part of the Salon Art + Design fair at the Park Avenue Armory, the presentation showcases the achievements of a number of artists honored as Living National Treasures by the Japanese government and other leading Japanese artists in lacquer, metalwork, and ceramics.
