Maxwell Quartet by Louise Mather
Experience the Carnegie Hall debut of Britain’s Maxwell Quartet, first prize and audience prize winner at the 2017 Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition. This intimate Well-Being Concert invites audiences to find a comfortable seat, enjoy world-class music, and explore concepts of self-care and mindfulness with an ensemble hailed as “brilliantly fresh, unexpected and exhilarating” (The Herald). With an irresistible sense of curiosity, the group mines fresh brilliance from classical quartet staples, modern masterpieces, newly arranged Scottish folk music, and more. This unique event is hosted by Alexander Technique teacher and The Juilliard School faculty member Lori Schiff.
