Khorikos by Dan Dzula

Experience a unique and transformative choral performance in the iconic Guggenheim rotunda, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Move among its imaginative new exhibition of sculptures by Carol Bove, as the dynamic vocal ensemble Khorikos performs and becomes a living sculpture of human breath and sound. The program weaves towering choral music from Arvo Pärt and John Tavener together with bold and contemplative new works by Shara Nova, Anna Meredith, Thomas Adès, and Kile Smith, and a world premiere work by Charlotte Greve. This music calls us to ask questions of our relationship with the present moment, breathe, and move forward.

Audience members can choose from a variety of casual and comfortable seating options, with mats, cushions, and chairs all available on a first-come, first-served basis. The concert ticket also includes an opportunity to view the Carol Bove exhibition.
