Widely regarded as one of the field’s leading voices, Mr. Dowling has earned honorable distinctions such as TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in Global Health and Modern Healthcare’s No. 1 ranking on its 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare. In addition to his transformative work in health care, he is a devoted supporter of the arts and culture. His decades of service as Northwell Health’s President and CEO, public servant, educator, and author reflect a career defined by innovation, integrity, and compassion. Join us for a special evening to celebrate Michael J. Dowling’s remarkable career and love of music.
The gala evening will consist of a cocktail reception and dinner program during which the award ceremony will take place, followed by a musical performance featuring renowned Broadway star, Norm Lewis. Proceeds from the Medal of Excellence Gala support Carnegie Hall’s artistic, education, and social impact programs.

Event Reservations
Gala reservations include entry to the cocktail reception and seating for the dinner, award ceremony, and musical performance by Norm Lewis. All portions of the evening will be located at The Plaza. Individual tickets start at $2,500. Tables for 10 guests start at $25,000. Gala ticket and table prices include a partially tax-deductible amount.
Please note that exact dinner seating assignments will not be determined until two weeks prior to the event. Seating is determined based on donation value. Proceeds from the Medal of Excellence Gala support Carnegie Hall’s artistic, education, and social impact programs.
