The Bavarian Carmina Choir, The Munich Harmonists, and the VOENA Children’s Choir from California perform Orff’s iconic Carmina Burana. The scenic cantata is a celebration of fate, fortune, love, and revelry. It is brought to life by the voices of 150 singers performing in original Bavarian attire. Driving rhythms by the The Munich Harmonists evoke the Golden Twenties, honoring the legacy of the Comedian Harmonists. The program culminates with “O Fortuna,” the work’s dramatic final movement.
