Experience the extraordinary partnership between Daniil Trifonov, one of the world’s most remarkable pianists, and the Berliner Philharmoniker, which The New York Times declared “the best in the business” when it last performed at Carnegie Hall. Together, they perform Brahms’s passionate Piano Concerto No. 1, an exquisite showpiece for both soloist and ensemble, followed by an orchestral performance of Richard Strauss’s soaring tone poem Also sprach Zarathustra, most popularly associated with Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey.
