Following three consecutive sold-out recitals, superstar pianist Yunchan Lim returns to Carnegie Hall for another career milestone: a complete cycle of Mozart’s piano sonatas, performed across four highly anticipated concerts. The cycle begins tonight with Mozart’s rarely performed first sonata, K. 279, followed by K. 284, another early entry from the composer’s time in Munich. Then, hear one of the cycle’s most popular and brilliant works: the Piano Sonata in F Major, K. 332, followed by a rare minor-key entry: the emotionally turbulent Piano Sonata in A Minor, K. 310.
