Yunchan Lim by Shin-joong Kim

Following three consecutive sold-out recitals, superstar pianist Yunchan Lim returns to Carnegie Hall for another career milestone: a complete cycle of Mozart’s 18 piano sonatas, performed across four highly anticipated concerts. Each performance features audience-favorite staples alongside the seldom-heard masterworks that they sometimes overshadow. Tonight, Lim performs the lesser-known K. 282 and K. 309; the elegant “Linz” Sonata, K. 333; the seminal K. 331, which includes the famous “Rondo alla Turca” third movement; and K. 311, which Lim performed en route to becoming the youngest-ever winner of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.
