The perpetually groundbreaking Kronos Quartet returns with its newest large-scale program. Created in collaboration with the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, inspired by the Doomsday Clock, and featuring special guests, A Hard Rain explores the fragility of civilization and honors the scientists working to safeguard it, featuring reimagined works by Bob Dylan, Nicole Lizée, Philip Glass, Nina Shekhar, and more, as well as spoken texts specially contributed by notable scientists.
