Víkingur Ólafsson by Ari Magg

Join pianist Víkingur Ólafsson on a reflective journey through the music of Philip Glass, Debussy, and Rameau. Ólafsson “treats Mr. Glass’s music like a sculpture, worth studying from all angles in search of new interpretations and surprises,” The New York Times said after Ólafsson released his Philip Glass: Piano Works album and performed etudes in a shared concert with Glass. Audiences will discover the same openhearted curiosity in his approach to impressionistic masterpieces by Debussy and the seminal Piéces de clavecin by French Baroque composer Rameau.
