Orchestra of St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble
David Fung performs Mozart’s Piano Concertos Nos. 12, 13, and 14 in chamber arrangements. Written in the early 1780s, these works mark a turning point in Mozart’s concerto writing, establishing a more integrated relationship between soloist and ensemble. Fung, a frequent interpreter of Mozart, has appeared with Orchestra of St. Luke’s and with orchestras in the United States and Australia. Mozart himself often led these works from the keyboard, a practice reflected in their clarity and balance.
