Experience one of the most awe-inspiring and grandly scaled orchestral works of all time, as Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts Gustav Mahler’s rarely heard Symphony No. 8—the “Symphony of a Thousand”—for three consecutive performances at the Met Opera. Featuring The Met Orchestra and Met Chorus with a lineup of exceptional soloists, these performances are a thrilling part of Nézet-Séguin’s 2026–2027 Mahler symphony cycle, which also includes eight one-night-only concerts under his visionary direction at Carnegie Hall.
