Carnegie Hall celebrates the resourcefulness and resilience of music educators around the world who work with students in classrooms, as well as online through a range of distance-learning platforms and technologies. Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute provides a wealth of digital programs and resources for educators to use free of charge. These have been grouped into three categories:

  • QuaverMusic is a world leader in online curriculum development for grades K–8, offering general music teachers a platform to stay connected to their students no matter where they are. Sign up for a free, 30-day trial.
  • MusicFirst is an online learning management system for teaching music at all age levels, allowing students to work on music theory, notation, sight-singing, and more. If your school is closed due to COVID-19, you can receive free access to the entire MusicFirst system for the duration of the closure.
  • SmartMusic is an online music classroom that supports efficient practice techniques and allows teachers to track student progress. SmartMusic is offering free access through June 30, 2020, for all schools impacted by COVID-19.
