The Cleveland Orchestra
Music Director Franz Welser-Möst conducts The Cleveland Orchestra in two concerts. They open the Carnegie Hall season with music by Nicolai, Strauss, and Beethoven’s Triple Concerto featuring violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, cellist Lynn Harrell, and pianist Yefim Bronfman. The next evening, Bronfman returns as soloist, performing Jörg Widmann’s Trauermarsch in the concluding concert that also features Mahler’s Symphony No. 5.
