Caroline Shaw

Explore the captivating soundscapes of Pulitzer Prize– and multiple Grammy-winning composer, singer, and multi- instrumentalist Caroline Shaw, one of today’s most distinctive voices across classical, indie, pop, and film music. Her chamber works are performed by several ensembles, including the Miró Quartet, Junction Trio, Decoda, Ensemble Connect, and Attacca Quartet, with Shaw performing with the latter. Her orchestral works and arrangements are found alongside timeless masterpieces in concerts by The Philadelphia Orchestra and The Knights. As half of the “electronic cinematic pop duo” Ringdown, Shaw premieres a multidisciplinary, semi-staged work that blends original material with works by Bernstein, Brahms, Britten, Copland, Clara Schumann, and more. Shaw also curates a unique collaboration with artists from The Juilliard School.
