Maxim Vengerov

Perspectives

Violinist Maxim Vengerov concludes his three-year Perspectives series with a remarkable seven performances, including a history-making exploration of Beethoven’s masterworks and more. Across three duo concerts with the great pianist Martha Argerich, Vengerov performs all 10 of Beethoven’s violin sonatas. He joins the London Symphony Orchestra as soloist in Beethoven’s Violin Concerto and Triple Concerto. Forming an all-star trio with pianist Evgeny Kissin and cellist Gautier Capuçon, he performs piano trios that span Beethoven’s first opus to his final work in the genre, the “Archduke.” Vengerov also joins an extraordinary lineup of artists in a gala celebration of the Rostropovich centenary.
