Voices of Hope: Dance and Theater
Carnegie Hall presents a program of movement and dance that examines universal themes viewed through the lens of young Black men in today’s America, and a powerful dance set to Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring as a mother goes through the stages of grief after her son is killed by police. Partner events include a fusion of street and club dances that explore new spatial contexts, and a theatrical presentation about Polish Jews embracing hope while rebuilding after war.
