The MET Orchestra
The MET Orchestra returns to Carnegie Hall for three concerts. In the first, Gianandrea Noseda and the orchestra are joined by Christian Tezlaff in Shostakovich’s virtuosic Violin Concerto No. 1. Nézet-Séguin conducts the remaining concerts with Anne-Sophie Mutter playing Beethoven’s exciting Violin Concerto in the second and mezzo-soprano Elza van den Heever singing Strauss’s gorgeous Four Last Songs to conclude the series.
