The New York Pops
Music Director Steven Reineke conducts The New York Pops in six concerts. The opening performance features stage, film, and television great Jeremy Jordan, while the second and third have jazz star Tony DeSare and stage legend Capathia Jenkins on hand for the Pops’ annual holiday celebration. Rodgers and Hammerstein songs are performed by Laura Michelle Kelly and Max von Essen in the fourth event, while the penultimate concert pays tribute to Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, and other divas. A celebration of film-music composer John Williams brings the Pops’ Carnegie Hall season to a rousing conclusion.
