  • Future Music Project Ensemble

Are you a future Carnegie Hall star?

Future Music Project Ensemble is a collective of the brightest young musicians ages 14–19 from across New York City. In this youth-led ensemble, teens bring their own unique musical style to create, perform, and produce music for their Carnegie Hall debut.

  • Future Music Project (Fadi Kheir)
  • This audition-based music collective of up to 20 young people is as diverse and vibrant as New York City itself. The ensemble aims to create an aspirational place for exceptionally talented teens to develop music and ideas and share them with the world. Ensemble members are expected to commit to coming to Carnegie Hall after school throughout the week. They will learn the skills they need to create, perform, and produce their own original music. All members meet on Tuesdays for Ensemble workshops from 4–6:30 PM.

During the 2017–2018 season, ensemble members will

    • share work in monthly Studio 57 Live concerts
    • perform two concerts in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage
    • record three professionally produced albums
    • make music with award-winning artists that include Fred Hersch, members of Snarky Puppy, and Toni Blackman
