    Pianist Yefim Bronfman Cancels Tonight's Solo Recital at Carnegie Hall, Withdraws from May 7 Appearance with Emerson String Quartet

    (For Immediate Release, New York, NY) — Carnegie Hall today announced that pianist Yefim Bronfman must regrettably cancel his solo recital in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage scheduled for tonight—May 4 at 8:00 p.m.— and withdraw from his upcoming appearance with the Emerson String Quartet on Sunday, May 7 at 3:00 p.m., due to illness.

    Tonight’s solo recital at Carnegie Hall will not be rescheduled. Patrons who purchased tickets for tonight’s performance with a credit card will receive automatic refunds. Those who purchased tickets with cash should return their tickets to the Carnegie Hall Box Office on 57th Street and Seventh Avenue.

    Updated information for Sunday’s concert with the Emerson String Quartet in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage will be forthcoming. Patrons are encouraged to check carnegiehall.org for the most up-to-date program information.
