  • An Evening with Sting: Symphonicities

    Carnegie Hall welcomed 16-time Grammy Award-winner Sting for his highly anticipated headlining-debut performance in a gala benefit event on Monday, December 14, 2015.  An Evening with Sting: Symphonicities joined the legendary singer-songwriter with Orchestra of St. Luke’s for a night of Sting’s most celebrated songs reimagined for symphonic arrangement, under Music Director and Conductor Rob Mathes with special guests Chris Botti and Andrea Griminelli.  The benefit event, which featured both pre- and post-concert gala celebrations , supported the music education initiatives of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute.  Our deepest appreciation goes to Gala Chairmen Mercedes T. Bass, Clarissa and Edgar Bronfman, Jr., Susan and Ed Forst, Annette de la Renta, Sana H. Sabbagh, Beatrice Santo Domingo, Mrs. Henry T. Segerstrom ,and David M.
