Carnegie Hall Presents

The Shape of Jazz

Pulse-quickening rhythms, fascinating fusions of acoustics and electronics, and daring improvisation makes this an essential series for jazz lovers. The legendary guitarist Pat Martino performs with his core trio and added saxophone and trumpet, while Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah shows why he is one of the most dynamic composers, performers, and trumpeters on the scene. Saxophonist Donny McCaslin pushes boundaries, separating jazz and electronica with his exciting electro-acoustic quartet. Doors open one hour early for these Late Nights at Zankel Hall events, giving everyone time for a pre-concert drink.
