• Notables FAQ

What are the age requirements to become a Notables member?

The Carnegie Hall Notables is a membership and ticket program for music enthusiasts in their 20s and 30s. You must be 40 years old or younger on the date of your donation, and must provide a valid photo ID with proof of age within 10 business days. Renewing members do not need to send ID.

Ways to send in your ID:

    • Fax: 212-903-9825
    • Email: notables@carnegiehall.org (electronic scans or cell phone pictures are acceptable)
    • Mail: Carnegie Hall Notables, 881 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019
    • In Person: Box Office at 57th and Seventh.

Please allow up to two business days for processing.

Where does my Notables membership donation go?

All contributions to the Notables program support the ambitious initiatives of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute, serving over 170,000 people each year. Please visit carnegiehall.org/Education to learn more.

How do I hear about exclusive Notable events and other benefits?

All Notables members receive Notables Picks—our monthly newsletter—on the first day of every month. Notables Picks contains $20 ticket offers, information about Notables events and benefits, and other special offers.

When and how can I buy $20 tickets?

Tickets are available for each month’s concerts beginning on the first day of that month at 11 AM (noon on Sunday). Tickets for concerts taking place in October, for example, go on sale October 1.

Please visit carnegiehall.org/NotablesTickets to see the current list of eligible concerts.

    • Online: Log in to your carnegiehall.org account and enter promotional code NTB25001 when purchasing tickets.
    • In Person: Visit the Box Office and mention your Notables membership.
    • By Phone: Call CarnegieCharge at 212-247-7800 and mention your Notables membership.

How many seats can I buy, to what concerts, and where will the seats be located?

One Notables member may purchase a maximum of two $20 tickets per concert.

All Carnegie Hall presentations (excluding galas and Weill Music Institute events) are eligible for $20 ticket offers. This does not include concerts presented by outside organizations. Look for Carnegie Hall presents in the event title.

Seat locations vary by concert and on a daily basis, but most sections will be available in all three halls. Inventory is limited per section. Blavatnik Family First Tier and Prime Parquet in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage are not eligible for this program. Please note this offer is based on open-seat inventory and some concerts may sell out at full price before the concert month begins.

    Please note:

Discounts cannot be combined with any other offer, are subject to availability and prior sale, and are not valid on prior purchases. Discounts are available for Carnegie Hall–presented events only, may be discontinued at any time, and some limitations may apply.
