Make your group visit to New York City unique with a private tour of the legendary Carnegie Hall. Your group will enjoy stories from our expert docents surrounding this landmarked concert venue and discover what makes it a national treasure. You may place requests for a private guided tour for groups of 20 people or more no earlier than four months in advance.
Please be advised that when submitting a group tour request, it does not serve as a confirmation for your tour. Carnegie Hall is a working concert facility and our ability to give tours is completely contingent on the rehearsal needs of our artists. Consequently, we are not able to confirm your tour until four to five weeks before your desired tour date. At that time, you will receive an email with further information with regard to our ability to provide a tour on your requested date.
Since Carnegie Hall is a live performance space with constantly changing rehearsal and performance schedules, providing us with multiple dates and times on your tour request form will significantly expedite the booking process.
When possible, tours are given Monday through Saturday between 10 AM and 4 PM. Group requests for specific dates and times may be submitted up to four months in advance by filling out the request form.
Once a tour is confirmed, payment is requested one week in advance of the tour date, preferably by credit card.
The tours last approximately one hour, and depart from the main lobby.
There is a 72-hour cancellation policy.
$17 for adults
$12 for seniors over 62, children 12 and younger, and students
All tours are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs are available upon request.
