Queens College Vocal Ensemble from the Aaron Copland School of Music performs “A Celebration of Shakespeare and his Contemporaries." This is followed by a commemoration of the centennial of the WWI armistice and Celebration of Peace with a performance of Ralph Vaughan Williams’s Dona Nobis Pacem. Conductor James Rodde will lead a 200-voice chorus, the Iowa State University Symphony Orchestra, and professional soloists in Vaughan Williams’s plea for peace.
