Pretty Yende by Gregor Hohenberg / Sony Entertainment
Watch a vocal rocket blast off when South African soprano Pretty Yende sings. Praised for her “lustrous voice” (NPR) and “silky, flexible sound” (The New York Times), she also commands the stage with her irresistible charisma. Carnegie Hall audiences were dazzled by her 2014 debut recital during the UBUNTU festival, and delighted by her appearance with The MET Orchestra and Michael Tilson Thomas in 2018. Now it’s your turn to be dazzled.
