NYO2 in Santiago, Dominican Republic

NYO2 is “a superbly talented youth orchestra” (New York Classical Review) that shows “a bright future for classical music” (Musical America). This new generation of orchestra musicians is proudly showcased as NYO2 embarks on its first-ever international tour. Esteemed conductor Joseph Young leads the group and renowned violinist Jennifer Koh in a program that includes Three Dance Episodes from Bernstein’s On the Town, Sibelius’s Violin Concerto, and a suite of music from Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet.
