The Song Continues

Marilyn Horne, Renée Fleming, and Graham Johnson

Recitals and Master Classes for Singers

Ages 18–35

January 23–28, 2018

Founded by iconic mezzo-soprano Marilyn Horne, one of America’s great artists, this annual celebration of art song nurtures gifted young singers. Soprano Renée Fleming and Collaborative Pianist Graham Johnson join Ms. Horne in an intensive weeklong series of coaching sessions and master classes for rising vocal talents. Invited participants will receive a private coaching with either Ken Noda or Warren Jones, and will also have the opportunity to attend a Career Resources Session and the culminating event, the Marilyn Horne Song Celebration.

In the 2018-2019 season, Renée Fleming builds on the remarkable legacy of supporting young singers and the art of the vocal recital that Marilyn Horne created and sustained over the past two decades by launching SongStudio.

Applications for the 2017-2018 season are now closed.

Please check back in the summer for the 2018–2019 application.
