The Westerlies

A Well-Being Concert
Tuesday, May 23, 2023 6 PM Resnick Education Wing
The Westerlies by Kevin Condon
Join us for a free, soul-nourishing Well-Being Concert at Carnegie Hall. The Westerlies, "an arty quartet...mixing ideas from jazz, new classical, and Appalachian folk" (The New York Times) are a New York-based brass group comprised of Riley Mulherkar and Chloe Rowlands on trumpet, and Andy Clausen and Willem de Koch on trombone. This adventurous quartet promote values of cooperation and inclusion through music. They are joined by special guest Kenyatta Emmanuel, a singer songwriter who explores the beauty of life, love, and the human condition, reminding us of all that we hold in common. Mindfulness and inspirational performance expert, George Mumford leads this experience as concert host.

Refreshments served after this concert.

This event is part of a study by Enact:Lab in collaboration with University of Copenhagen and the MIT Media Lab to understand the connection between music and wellbeing—participation in the study is voluntary.

RSVP required. Please RSVP for up to four people per party.
