Marc Urselli, a seven-time Grammy-nominated, three-time Grammy-winning music producer, audio engineer, mixer, sound designer, and front-of-house engineer. He has collaborated with a variety of musical and visual artists, and mixed-media multidisciplinaries, including U2, Foo Fighters, Nick Cave, Lou Reed, Sting, Keith Richards, Kesha, Jeff Beck, Les Paul, Buddy Guy, Luther Vandross, Børns, The Black Crowes, Frank Sinatra, Joss Stone, Mike Patton, Jack DeJohnette, Esperanza Spalding, John Patitucci, and Laurie Anderson.
Urselli has provided sound design for theatrical productions by Peter Sellars and Julian Crouch, and for composers Tyshawn Sorey, John Zorn, and Paola Prestini. He has also provided sound design, site-specific composition, and sonic installations for visual artists such as Italian sculptor-painter Arianna Carossa, French lighting artist Laurent Fort, Chilean video artist Nicolás Rupcich, and American installation artist Michelle Jaffé.
Urselli was born in Switzerland and raised in Italy, where he opened his first commercial recording facility at age 17. He later moved to New York City, where he currently resides and works as chief house engineer for the historic recording studio EastSide Sound.
