Following a groundbreaking premiere in 2023, the Power Network returns to Carnegie Hall with its second annual Black History Month Conversation and Celebration. We welcome back Robert F. Smith and the financial-empowerment visionaries of Earn Your Leisure—Rashad Bilal and Troy Millings—along with industry leaders who include Governor Wes Moore (the only sitting African American governor in the US, best-selling author, and former CEO of Robin Hood Foundation); Sherrese Clarke Soares (founder and CEO of HarbourView Equity Partners); Ron Busby Sr. (president and CEO of US Black Chambers Inc.); Derek Ferguson (chairman of Vibranium Central Foundation and chief administrative officer of TIAA); Megan Holston-Alexander (leader of the Cultural Leadership Fund at Andreessen Horowitz); Kim Keenan (founding director of the Digital Progress Institute); and Cedric Nash (founder, president, and CEO of Oakland Consulting Group) in candid discussions about leveraging content, influence, technology, and public policy to drive real change and close the economic divide. World-class entertainment includes Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum–selling hip-hop artist and businessman Rick Ross, and others. Join the Power Network in celebrating unity in diversity and creating a legacy of meaningful—and actionable—steps towards change.
