This performance embraces Mexican culture in a celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Mexican tenor Leonardo Sánchez performs a joyous repertoire of huapangos, boleros, rancheras, and folkloric melodies as a musical voyage through the heart of Mexico. Joining him is an ensemble of traditional Mexican instruments including the accordion, guitarrón, vihuela, harp, jaranas, and cello, alongside Grammy-winning musician and producer, Music Director Humberto Flores.
