A Well-Being Concert

Anthony Roth Costanzo by Matthew Placek, Bryan Wagorn by Dario Acosta
Grammy Award–winning countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo is a superstar singer known for leading roles at The Metropolitan Opera, top concert halls, and much more. In this intimate and welcoming performance in Carnegie Hall’s Resnick Education Wing, he joins pianist Bryan Wagorn in a Well-Being Concert that invites audiences to join the artists in a communal experience, encouraging mindfulness, self-care, and personal nourishment through music.

Audience members can choose from a variety of casual and comfortable seating options, with mats, cushions, and chairs all available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Part of: Well-Being Concerts

Scholars and scientists across disciplines are partnering with Carnegie Hall to ask important questions about the relationship between music and wellness. The Berkeley Social Interaction Lab at the University of California, Berkeley, under the guidance of Professor of Psychology Dr. Dacher Keltner, is partnering with Carnegie Hall to study the experience of live concerts. Audience members will be invited to participate in this research after they purchase tickets. Participation will be compensated. Read more about the Berkley Social Interaction Lab survey here; note that by clicking this link you will leave the Carnegie Hall site.

If you are unable to attend this concert, you are still invited to participate in the study and will also be compensated. Read about the Berkley Social Interaction Lab survey for more information; note that by clicking this link you will leave the Carnegie Hall site.
