Ring in the New Year with a long-running New York tradition: the New York String Orchestra’s late-December concert at Carnegie Hall. Jaime Laredo conducts the youthful ensemble and renowned violinist Jennifer Koh in a program that includes Barber’s Violin Concert, Brahms’s First Symphony, and a piece by the Pulitzer Prize–winning composer Ellen Taaffe Zwilich. Welcome 2025 by applauding the bright, energetic future of classical music.
