"Nadia": A Portrait of Nadia Boulanger

Composer, pianist, organist, and acclaimed conductor Nadia Boulanger also taught legendary musicians such as Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein, and Astor Piazzolla. The evening’s program honors her influence around the world and includes original works alongside works by Tchaikovsky, Fauré, and Gershwin. This program also features a U.S. premiere by composer Johan Farjot and a world premiere written specifically for this concert by Colombian composer Francisco Zumaque, a former student of Boulanger’s. All proceeds will be allocated to non-profit organizations Magen David Adom and Zakaworld.
