Ute Lemper

Weimar Berlin and After the Exodus
Friday, February 9, 2024 7:30 PM Zankel Hall Center Stage
Ute Lemper by Guido Harari
With her trademark dramatic flair and gift for bitingly sharp satire, actress and chanteuse Ute Lemper explores the music of Weimar Berlin and the many artists exiled from it. This cabaret performance takes place in Zankel Hall Center Stage, a transformative, in-the-round setting that breaks down typical barriers between artist and audience. Enjoy Lemper’s indelible take on the art of Friedrich Hollaender, Kurt Weill, Bertolt Brecht, Hanns Eisler, Mischa Spoliansky, and more.
