Tradition meets innovation as the musicians of Ensemble Connect collaborate on a boundary-transcending program with electronics designer and percussionist Levy Lorenzo. The unique performance includes Lorenzo’s “Consolas,” his new work for laptop quartet; his inventive take on Terry Riley’s “In C” with custom musical bots; and a pair of iconic works for live instruments and electronics by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Kaija Saariaho.
