Link Up
Students in grades 3–5 are introduced to the orchestra by becoming a part of it in this highly participatory program.
With our free online resources, students anywhere can sing and play along with interactive sheet music, recordings, and video, using suggested classroom activities to explore the fundamentals of orchestral music through the repertoire.
In New York City, participating students learn to sing and play an instrument in the classroom and perform with a professional orchestra from their seats at a culminating concert at Carnegie Hall. During the 2025–2026 season, New York City–area students will participate in The Orchestra Sings.
Orchestras across the country and around the world are also taking part in Link Up. Partner orchestras can utilize any of the program materials—including teacher guides, student materials, concert scripts, and concert visuals—in their own communities.
